Mississippi State University Libraries is hosting the sixth annual E.O. Templeton Jr. History and Genealogy Fair at Mitchell Memorial Library. Admission is free, but those interested in attending are asked to register online at http://lib.msstate.edu/genealogy. Participants can purchase a boxed lunch. Charles Ross and Jeffrey Jackson, co-chairs of the University of Mississippi Slavery Research Group, will give a 9:15 a.m. keynote presentation. Pattye Archer, coordinator at MSU Libraries’ Digital Media Center, will lead a lunchtime “Make Your Own Family Tree” program. At 2:30 p.m., Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians Archivist Amanda Bell and Delta Chinese Heritage Museum Archivist Emily Jones will lead a panel discussion.
