Mississippi State University is holding three spring commencement ceremonies at Humphrey Coliseum. Doors open at 8 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 2 p.m. for the afternoon ceremonies, with processionals beginning at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. Graduates and their guests are encouraged to arrive early to ensure smooth entry through the coliseum’s metal detectors. MSU President Mark E. Keenum will perform the conferring of degrees, and attendees will hear from a special guest speaker. The April 30 graduation program includes the College of Business and the College of Education. The May 1 morning program includes the college of Architecture, Art and Design, and Arts and Sciences. The afternoon program includes the Bagley College of Engineering and colleges of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Forest Resources and Veterinary Medicine, as well as those receiving University Studies degrees through the Complete 2 Compete program.
