As part of Earth Science Week, Mississippi State's Department of Geosciences and the Dunn-Seiler Museum are celebrating National Fossil Day with a Fossil Extravaganza! 

Children’s activities and refreshments will be available.

Attendees also can tour the Dunn-Seiler Museum's mineral, rock and fossil collections featuring mastodon and mammoth teeth, an extinct crocodile, remains of amazing creatures that once ruled Mississippi’s seas and roamed the state, a meteorite display and augmented reality sandbox. 

Admission is free to all, so come join in the fun!
