MSU Department of Art seeks submissions for 50th Anniversary Alumni Exhibition

Mississippi State University's Department of Art is accepting submissions for its 50th Anniversary Alumni Exhibition that will be on display January-April 2018 at the university's Cullis Wade Depot Art Gallery. Due by Oct. 1, submissions may include ceramics, drawing, graphic design (e.g., branding campaigns, packaging), illustration, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and electronic media.

There are no submission fees. All work must be recent and completed within the last three years and produced after graduating from MSU. Any accepted work must be gallery presentable and ready to hang upon delivery to the Department of Art. Artists may submit up to three works. Each piece must be entered as separate submissions. Entrants may include up to two detailed images of each work. Maximum size for framed, two-dimensional works is 4 feet by 4 feet, and maximum weight is 40 pounds.

Works will be reviewed and selected by MSU alumnus, designer, printmaker and educator Wesley Stuckey. A Best in Show winner will be selected and invited for a future solo exhibition at one of the Department of Art's campus galleries.
