ACT Preparation Workshop offered at MSU Nov. 18

The Learning Center at Mississippi State is offering an ACT Preparation Workshop on Nov. 18  from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in Allen Hall, Room 11 at the Starkville campus. The workshop is open to all area high school and college students who plan to take the ACT.                          
                          
There will be four areas of concentration: English, math, reading and science reasoning. The cost is $75, and participants will receive a book, "Barron's 3rd Edition, ACT 36: Aiming for the Perfect Score."                         
                          
Beginning Nov. 15, there will be a $50 late fee in addition to the cost of $75.
