MSU releases new course list for teacher-license renewals

STARKVILLE, Miss.—For teachers needing continuing education units required for license renewal, Mississippi State announces the availability of several online courses.

Developed by faculty in the university’s College of Education, the courses address current school issues. Each counts as 0.5 CEU and may be completed in as little as five hours.

Provided through the Center for Continuing Education, the courses include Creating a Positive Classroom Environment, Scaffolding for the Elementary Classroom, What Successful Teachers Do, ADHD in the Classroom, Learning about Dyslexia, and Classroom Management Basics.
