Roadrunners selected at MSU for coming academic year

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Forty-seven students from throughout Mississippi, as well as from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia are members of the 2018-2019 Roadrunners class at Mississippi State.

Roadrunners assist the university’s admissions office with new student recruitment. In addition to leading campus tours, they also correspond regularly with prospective students and assist with the operation of various campus events throughout the school year.

Participants are chosen through a rigorous selection process and include some of the top students at MSU.

This year’s Roadrunner class includes (by hometown):

ASHEVILLE, North Carolina – John Fox, a freshman business major.

AUSTIN, Texas – Katherine Walters, a junior kinesiology major.

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana – Matthew Willoughby, a sophomore broadcast meteorology major.

BRANDON – Peyton Hardin, a sophomore secondary education major, and Parker Kennedy, a sophomore industrial engineering major.

CARTHAGE – Sydney Ogletree, a sophomore elementary education major.

CLEVELAND – William Baugh, a freshman agricultural education, leadership and communication major.

COLUMBIA, Missouri – Angelica Smith, a sophomore biological engineering major.

FAYETTEVILLE, Georgia – Alexcia Ennis, a junior biomedical engineering major.

FLOWOOD – Ava Richardson, a freshman communication major.

FORREST CITY, Arkansas – Candace Latham, a junior international business major, and Justice Sparkmon, a junior psychology major.

GREENVILLE – Kenya Williams, a sophomore biological sciences major.
