Fall commencement ceremonies to air on MSTV, web and social media livestreams

Mississippi Public Universities Commissioner of Higher Education and Mississippi State alumnus Alfred Rankins Jr. will be the commencement speaker for MSU’s two fall graduation ceremonies on Friday [Dec. 14].

Several viewing options will be available for those who wish to watch either ceremony remotely. MSTV will provide a live broadcast of each ceremony, and livestreams will be available at www.livestream.com/MSTV/live and http://mymedia.msstate.edu/viewer.php?live=grad. Additionally, MSU will stream the ceremony on Facebook Live at www.facebook.com/msstate.

The two graduation ceremonies are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The morning ceremony will feature degree candidates from the colleges of Architecture, Art and Design, Arts and Sciences, and Education, as well as those receiving University Studies degrees through the Complete 2 Compete program. The afternoon ceremony will recognize degree candidates from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the School of Human Sciences, College of Business and the Adkerson School of Accountancy, Bagley College of Engineering and the Swalm School of Chemical Engineering, College of Forest Resources and College of Veterinary Medicine.
