Two female students measure the length of a mouse trapped during their Mammalogy class at South Farm

Mouse Measurements

Paige Fogarty (left) of Columbus and Carlee Goode of Pelahatchie, both senior wildlife, fisheries and aquaculture majors, work together to take measurements of a mouse as part of a mammalogy lab. The students studied various animals found on the university's South Farm, an exercise that allowed them to gain skills in determining the abundance of various species in a given area.
