Rest in Peace, Champ (2005-16)

Members of the Mississippi State Bulldog family are mourning the loss of Bully XX, affectionately referred to as “Champ,” the American Kennel Club-registered English bulldog who served as the university’s mascot from 2009-15. During Super Bulldog Weekend 2015, Champ passed the official mascot harness and duties to his son, Jak, named in honor of the late legendary "Voice of the Bulldogs" Jack Cristil.
