As part of Monday's [April 16] Earth Day fair on the Drill Field, the Mississippi State student chapter of the American Society for Civil Engineers displayed their Green Tailgate project. It is a tailgate set up fully powered by alternative energy, with solar panels and a wind turbine. Diana Linder, a senior civil engineering major from Starkville, made sure the wind turbine was set for optimal performance.
