Mackenzie Nelson, a junior landscape architecture major from Holly Springs, makes adjustments to the pipe and wire trellis she designed for the Mississippi State Community Garden. Located south of the Newell-Grissom Building and adjacent to the Department of Landscape Architecture on Stone Boulevard, the garden offers a unique way to promote sustainability, meet others interested in local food and improve campus life. Volunteers are invited to participate in community garden work days Wednesday and Thursday [May 2-3] from 1-5 p.m.
