"Science Night at the Museum" attendees look on as a Mississippi Bug Blues staff member points out a ghost mantis in a living zoo display at Mississippi State. Sponsored by MSU's Museums and Galleries Committee, "Science Night at the Museum" demonstrations, tours and activities give members of the campus and Starkville community a chance to learn more about the university's academic programs and resources in a variety of fields, from astronomy to entomology and geology to meteorology. An educational outreach program of the Mississippi Entomology Museum, Mississippi Bug Blues has become the state’s leader in invasive species awareness with emphasis on insect roles in biodiversity and conservation.
