About this event
Dr. Katherine Jung, program director for the Division of Metabolism and Health Effects, and Dr. Abraham Bautista, director of the Office of Extramural Activities, are visiting and speaking at Mississippi State University. Both work for the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism and will be discussing opportunities at the National Institutes of Health, as well as providing insight as to how proposals are won at NIH. Also, beginning at 8 a.m. on Feb. 24, Drs. Jung and Bautista will be available to meet one-on-one with faculty/reseachers in 15 minute intervals. To sign up for the one-on-one sessions, contact Lynn Taylor at ltaylor@research.msstate.edu. Preference will be given based on the order in which the requests are received. Don't miss this opportunity to "pitch" a proposal idea to the visiting program officers and receive immediate feedback!
