Theatreworks USA's 'The Lightning Thief' Family Show at MSU Riley Center

About this event

Percy Jackson is about to get kicked out of school, but you can't blame him. Having monsters and gods from your Greek mythology textbook come to life and start harassing you would make it hard for anyone to study. Then Zeus, the mightiest god of all, accuses Percy of stealing his lightning bolt and gives Percy 10 days to return it. This fast-paced musical adaptation of the fantasy-adventure novel, "The Lightning Thief," contains stage-filling action, heroic battles, and real-life concerns to which kids can relate. As usual, Theatreworks USA has created a superb touring production that's perfect for families. Tickets may be purchased online, by phone or in person at the MSU Riley Center Box Office.
