About this event

In recognition of Suicide Prevention Month, Mississippi State's Department of Health Promotion and Wellness is offering Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper Training. The nationally recognized, evidence-based suicide prevention program will teach faculty, staff and students how to identify students of concern, communicate this concern in a caring way to students, and connect students to mental health providers. There are no expectations of prior training for participants. The training will consist of a PowerPoint presentation and role play exercise, which will provide participants the opportunity to practice QPR. Click the "Link" below for more information and to register for one of the two QPR training sessions.
