Turkey Trot 5K - 10K - Family Fun Run

Mississippi State's Department of Recreational Sports is encouraging individuals of all ages in the university and surrounding communities to participate in its 17th annual Turkey Trot 5K, 10K and Family Fun Run! Participants will be entered into a raffle for various prizes from local shops and restaurants, as well as MSU's Department of Athletics. In addition to receiving a Turkey Trot medal, race winners will be able to choose an award from a collection of items donated by race sponsors. Participants are asked to bring three canned goods or nonperishable items that will be donated to a local food pantry. With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, your donations will go a long way to help those in need. The participant who donates the most canned goods or nonperishable items will receive an award. Proceeds from the Turkey Trot will support Rec Sports student staff in attending national and regional conferences for professional development.
