2016 Unified Egg Bowl

Students at Mississippi State University will partner with Special Olympics Mississippi athletes in the 2016 Unified Egg Bowl, a flag football event designed to bring together Mississippians over their most divided sports rivalry. The Unified Bulldogs will face the Unified Rebels of Ole Miss in the third annual Unified Egg Bowl at MSU's intramural fields on Stone Boulevard. Game time is 6:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a tailgate cookout. The Famous Maroon Band and MSU Spirit Squads will participate. The Unified Egg Bowl also features a Fan Fundraising Challenge, pitting fans of MSU and Ole Miss against each other to see who can raise the most money for Special Olympics Mississippi. The fan competition raised more than $15,000 over its first two years. Hail State!
