About this event
Today is the last day that paper proposals and abstracts for the Mississippi State African American Studies program's Black Studies Education Conference may be submitted. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the African American Studies program committee welcomes 300-500 word proposals on the theme of black studies in the 21st century, as well as papers with a historical, social science, legal or economic perspective. Full panels are welcome, but will accept single submissions. Proposals may be submitted by email and in PDF format to ltownsend@aas.msstate.edu and should include the submitter's contact information and affiliation. The conference committee will review proposals by Aug. 1, and send notices of acceptance by email. Click the "Link" below for more information.
