About this event

In this fun workshop at Mississippi State's Crosby Arboretum, children will learn how to incorporate nature into their very own handmade piece of art. Arboretum staff member Kim Johnson will show children how to use various seeds to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. All materials will be provided. Space is limited to 20 children, so registration is required no later than July 25. As children must be accompanied by an adult, there is no minimum age requirement. The cost is $3 for children of Arboretum members and $5 for non-members’ children. Parents and guardians accompanying children will be admitted free of charge. Call the Crosby Arboretum office to register today!

Additional Information
With increasing value being placed on our natural heritage, the Crosby Arboretum in Picayune is the premier native plant conservatory in the Southeast. The arboretum was established as a living memorial to L.O. Crosby Jr. (1907-78) and has expanded to become a resource for education in the region and world. Today, it provides for the protection of the region's biological diversity and serves as a place for the public's enjoyment of plant species native to the Pearl River Drainage Basin of south-central Mississippi and Louisiana.
