A Day With LUCI Wheelchair Technology Training

Mississippi State’s T.K. Martin Center for Technology and Disability is hosting a hand-on training session to explore the emerging technology of sensors for power wheelchairs.

A Day with LUCI takes place April 26, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at the T.K. Martin Center and is open to professionals in the field of assistive technology, including occupational and physical therapists, speech language pathologists, teachers and counselors. The session provides an introduction to LUCI, an innovative power wheelchair system of smart sensors that can help prevent injury and damage during wheelchair use.

Registration is $150 per person and includes a CEU credit, classroom instruction, end user panel discussion, hands-on training and lunch. Participants can register for the training at https://buff.ly/3eXQ3Bx.
