About this event

What would happen if a competitor either in the U.S. or from a foreign country were to steal a company’s trade secrets or intellectual property? Do you know how to protect your intellectual property or trade secrets? What are the warning signs to look for that someone maybe trying to access your protected and most valuable information? A joint seminar presented by Neil Lewis, director of Mississippi State University's Office of Research Security, and Special Agent Chris Hinkle of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, will assist you in identifying the issues and how to respond. A short video, “The Company Man,” also will be shown. The video tells the story of an actual U.S. company that was targeted by a foreign entity and how it cooperated with the FBI to bring the perpetrators to justice. Click the "Link" below to register.
