After more than a decade as a highly sought-after freelance choreographer, Jessica Lang formed her own company in 2011. It has already become one of the country's most talked-about dance troupes, drawing rave reviews in major cities. Lang, who studied at The Juilliard School, draws equally from ballet and modern dance, and choreographs to music by both classical and contemporary composers. She uses her dancers, scenery, video projections and other design elements to create striking, ever-changing visual compositions.
