About this event

It is the 1940s. A rich young lady and her penniless husband board a Nile River steamer for a honeymoon cruise. Fellow passengers include the wife's ex-best friend, who also is the husband's ex-fiancée, as well as several people who may not be what they seem. Dramatic plot twists and stunning revelations ensue. Beloved British mystery writer Agatha Christie adapted the play from her own 1937 novel "Death on the Nile." The British-American Aquila Theatre company strikes exactly the right balance in preserving the period feel and intricate storyline, while adding a layer of physicality and inventiveness that will keep contemporary audiences riveted. Tickets may be purchased online, by phone or in person at the MSU Riley Center Box Office. Click the "Link" below for more information.
