Faculty and staff who have not previously attended are encouraged to register for the Mississippi State University Safe Zone Advisory Board's spring Safe Zone Ally Training. Safe Zone is a campus-wide program that promotes a welcoming and safe community for LGBTQ students, faculty and staff. Safe Zone Allies, who have completed awareness training, are any individuals committed to providing and maintaining a safe and supportive campus environment.
