For the first time since 2013, the Mississippi State men's tennis squad has been selected as a host for the 2018 NCAA Championship First and Second Rounds! The newly-crowned SEC Tournament Champion Bulldogs – who earned the No. 6 national seed in this year's NCAA Championship - will host the event Friday-Saturday [May 11-12] at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre. Play will begin Friday at 10 a.m., with the first match pitting second-seeded Memphis against third-seeded South Alabama. Following the match between the Tigers and Jaguars, ninth-ranked MSU will face Tennessee Tech at 1 p.m. The winners of the Friday contests will then face each other in the second round matchup on Saturday at 1 p.m. with the winner advancing to the NCAA Round of 16 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on May 18.
