Mississippi State's Department of Health Promotion and Wellness is offering students a low-cost STI test. Tests will be administered from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 8 at the John C. Longest Student Health Center on Hardy Road. The cost of the test is $22, payable with cash or check. Students can charge this amount to their MSU account. The cost will cover testing for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and HIV/AIDS and will be performed by trained medical personnel in a confidential setting. If the student chooses to charge the STI test to his or her student account, the charge will simply appear as "Student Health Center Charge." Walk-ins are welcome.
