About this event

The fashion design and merchandising program in Mississippi State's School of Human Sciences is sponsoring a presentation focused on one of Mississippi's top commodities—cotton. The featured speaker is David Sasso, vice president of sales for Buhler Quality Yarns Corp. in Jefferson, Georgia. Sasso focuses on establishing brand and retail relationships and integrating these into the supply chain. He also has vast experience and knowledge in yarn spinning, as well as knitting and weaving. Refreshments will be served. The program is made possible through the Cotton Inc. grant, "Cotton Works™ on Campus: From Cotton Fields to Fashion Fields."
