High-caliber riders from across the country will show their skills Feb. 8 and 9 at the Mississippi Horse Park during the annual Rotary Classic Rodeo. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event will begin at 7 p.m. each night. Rodeo events include bull riding, steer wrestling, bareback riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding and team roping. On Saturday, attendees can enjoy pony rides and a petting zoo on the arena floor from 5-6:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $15 at the door or $12 in advance. Children 12 and under are admitted free on Friday; Saturday children’s admission is $5. Advanced tickets can be purchased at Oktibbeha County Co-op, RAM/Parker-McGill in Starkville and West Point, Starkville Convention and Visitors Bureau (The Partnership), and Tractor Supply Co.'s Starkville and Columbus locations.
