Join us for an exciting guest lecture by MSU alumnus Cynthia Henderson.

Cynthia Henderson is the founder and principal engineer of Cypress Environment & Infrastructure, ranked in the 2022 Inc 5000 list as the No. 1,803 fastest-growing business nationwide and No. 15 within engineering. She founded Cypress to provide government and private clients with collaborative solutions to water resources, environmental and placemaking projects. As a practicing environmental engineer for more than 20 years, her passion is for solving complex environmental problems, from resilient infrastructure to ecosystem restoration. She is also president of the board of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science Foundation, where she has supervised more than $5 million in donations to support STEM education and future STEM professionals.
