In this session, participants will learn:
- The purpose and types of Maroon Alerts (texts, emails, social media, sirens and more)
- How to interpret alert language and determine what actions to take
- The difference between shelter-in-place, lockdown and evacuation notifications
- How to ensure your contact information is up to date in the system
- What to expect during and after an alert is issued
