The Center for Teaching and Learning at Mississippi State is sponsoring a special program on the scholarship of teaching with special guest Bill Buskist from Auburn University. A psychologist and nationally known authority in this area, his presentations will be very valuable for faculty who are interested in leveraging their teaching scholarship.
Buskist will deliver a "Pathways to Excellent Teaching" lecture on Thursday [Sept. 24] at 3 p.m. in Mitchell Memorial Library's Grisham Room. Associate professor Jared Keeley from MSU's Department of Psychology will join him for an "Engaging in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning" workshop on Friday [Sept. 25] from 1-5 p.m. in the Grisham Room.
