Dear Colleagues,
The last 18 months have seen historic challenges and each of you has met those challenges with tenacity, innovation, and old-fashioned hard work.
Each day, I feel very fortunate to be able to work with outstanding faculty and staff like you. Your work is making a difference in the lives of our students and in the many communities in this state that we serve.
As the start of the new fiscal year approaches, I am very pleased to report that we will be able to award merit pay increases, effective July 1, to benefits-eligible employees. A merit raise pool of $6.5 million will be provided.
Additional details and guidelines for administering raises will be distributed to departments in the next few days as part of the annual budgeting process.
Again, thank you for all you do for Mississippi State as we fulfill our mission of teaching, research, and service. I could not be prouder of our university, and of you – the people who make it great.
