Bulldog Bash organizers announce date change

Bulldog Bash, Mississippi’s largest, free outdoor concert, has been moved to Friday, Nov. 5.

The event, sponsored by the MSU Student Association, is the night before the MSU vs. University of Arkansas football game on Saturday, Nov. 6 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. The location remains in downtown Starkville at the intersection of Jackson and Main streets.

Bulldog Bash was originally set for Sept. 17, but has been changed due to a combination of factors, according to Liv Hunter, the event’s student director.

“This decision was made largely due to the fact that the live entertainment industry is still recovering from the past year. We believe this date change will lead to happier attendees and a more quality event,” Hunter said.

Hunter also said the Bulldog Bash committee thanks all the sponsorship partners and vendors for “their support and willingness to make this the best Bash yet.”
