A portion of sidewalk located near the intersection of Bailey Howell and Lakeview drives closed today [Aug. 1] and will remain shuttered through Aug. 8 as workers tend to electrical system improvements along the thoroughfare.

Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area.
