• Info:

  Dr. Sharnnia Artis, a native of Chesapeake, Virginia, is an engineer, researcher, author, and world traveler. A post doctoral researcher in the college of engineering at The Ohio State University, Artis conducts research in the Engineering Education Innovation Center. Her research focuses on the evaluation and assessment of engineering education and outreach to underrepresented groups including women and ethnic minorities. Dr. Artis obtained her bachelor's, master's, and doctor of philosophy degrees in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, she was a Southern Regional Education Board Doctoral Scholar, the National Society of Black Engineer's Graduate Student of the Year, and Virginia Tech's Graduate Woman of the Year.
