A Sept. 12 conference at Mississippi State University will acquaint business leaders at all levels with the latest information on Internet-based commerce.

Titled "E-2000," the 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. meeting will focus on critical issues businesses must consider when making plans for an online presence. Among others, specific topic areas will include:

--Emerging online business models and their impact on organizational structure;

--Web development teams and their critical role;

--New skills needed by employees; and

--Legal and security concerns.

In addition to the College of Business and Industry's Division of Business Services, the MSU Extension Service and Division of Continuing Education are conference sponsors.

Seating is limited and early registration is recommended. A $75 registration fee includes all instructional materials and refreshments. After Sept. 1, the fee will be $85.
