For veterinarians and other animal care professionals previously unaware of the service, Mississippi State's College of Veterinary Medicine announces a weekday information resource desk.
Located at the university's Wise Center library, the collection of veterinary medical-related books, journals, multi-media materials, handbooks and textbooks, and electronic databases are available 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mondays-Fridays.
Both quick-reference assistance and in-depth support are provided for professional clients at no cost via e-mail, telephone or fax.
Upon receiving a request, librarians will conduct a search for article citations and abstract overviews. From these, the client can select the desired information.
Also available are reference lists of books that may be ordered through hometown or area libraries.
