Senior Jenny M. Reeves of Oxford (c) is the 2001 HEADWAE Student of the Year at Mississippi State University. The honor is given as part of the Mississippi Legislature's annual Higher Education Appreciation Day/Working for Academic Excellence program. Reeves is completing a yearlong term as president of the MSU Student Association, the highest campus elective office. The political science major and Oxford High School graduate, here with parents Carolyn and Jim Reeves at the recent Jackson awards ceremony, also holds two of MSU's most prestigious academic honors, the Ottilie Schillig Leadership and the John C. Stennis scholarships. Dr. Robert C. Cooper, director of the College of Veterinary Medicine's Animal Health Center and former Holland Faculty Senate chair, is MSU's 2001 faculty honoree.
