Mississippi State University senior Brian Berryman is receiving a $2,800 Garden Clubs of Mississippi Scholarship for the 2001-02 school year.
Berryman is a forest management major from Leighton, Ala., and president of the campus chapter of the Society of American Foresters. Also a Dean's Scholar while at MSU, he is a 1998 Colbert County High School graduate and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Berryman.
A Garden Clubs of Mississippi Scholarship is awarded annually to a junior or senior in MSU's College of Forest Resources.
The Garden Clubs of Mississippi is a federation of local garden clubs throughout the state.
