Madrina H. Bokenkamp of Katy, Texas, is the new Outstanding Young Alumna of Mississippi State University. She recently received the honor at the MSU Alumni Association's annual awards banquet on campus. Bokenkamp currently serves as president of the Greater Houston Area alumni chapter, which this year tied with Mobile, Ala., as the top out-of-state alumni organization. A high school history teacher, she received bachelor's and master's degrees in history in 1994 and 1997, respectively.
