A Mississippi State literary magazine is inviting entries of art and photographs for consideration as the cover image of the university publication's next issue.
April 23 is the submission deadline in the "Jabberwock Review" cover competition.
"The winning entry not only will be featured in our 2003 spring issue, but will win $50 as well," said associate English professor Becky Hagenston, publication adviser.
Edited by MSU students, the semiannual paperback publication features works of art, fiction and poetry submitted from local and national contributors. In addition to subscriptions, funding is derived from support of the Office of the Provost, College of Arts and Sciences, University Honors Program, and English department.
Persons interested in submitting a cover entry should mail black-and-white prints or photographs in care of Jabberwock Review, Drawer E, English Department, Mississippi State, MS 39762.
