To introduce new and returning Mississippi State students to resources available in the community, the university's Division of Student Affairs is sponsoring a Student Involvement Fair.
Campus organizations, local businesses, student groups, and others will gather 3-5 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Joe Frank Sanderson Center to showcase their activities and products. Snacks will be provided.
Ann Bailey, director of housing and residence life, said applications from commercial and campus organizations still are being accepted. Interested parties not yet enrolled are being encouraged to do so as soon as possible, she added.
"It's a great one-stop opportunity to learn more about a variety of resources," said housing and residence life director Ann Bailey. "Last year's event drew nearly 1,400 students."
