STARKVILLE, Miss.--Corinth senior Kariean A. Patterson is the first Miss Maroon and White at Mississippi State University. Chosen last week from a field of more than 75 in a contest involving individual interviews and on-stage presence, Patterson now is considered the school's most beautiful female student. She is a psychology major and the daughter of Ida Patterson. Formerly the Miss Reveille Pageant sponsored by the university's yearbook, the Miss Maroon and White program now is being organized by the Campus Activities Board of MSU's Office of Student Life. The title refers to the school colors.
