Mississippi State junior Brittainy E. Childers of Aberdeen will represent the state's largest university this summer in the Miss Mississippi Pageant in Vicksburg. A management major, she enrolled last fall after graduating from Itawamba Community College, where she was Miss ICC in the 2003 statewide pageant that leads to the annual Miss America competition. Childers is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Childers.
