A public hearing is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Starkville Sportsplex to obtain citizen comment on a Mississippi State University grant proposal to expand the campus shuttle system to also serve the City of Starkville.
MSU, in cooperation with the city and the Golden Triangle Area Agency on Aging, has applied for a grant from the Mississippi Department of Transportation to add two shuttle routes serving shopping, health care, and residential areas.
