STARKVILLE, Miss.--A two-hour public reception Thursday [Aug. 25] formally opens the 2005 Art Department Faculty Show at Mississippi State.
Already on display, the works of 20 members of the university's departmental faculty are being featured through Sept. 16 in the McComas Hall gallery. The opening reception takes place 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. As with the entire campus, the exhibit will be closed for the Sept. 5 Labor Day observance.
Featured artists include Bill Andrews, Kate Bingaman, Critz Campbell, James Davis, Rebecca Davis, department head Kay Demarsche, Jason Demarte, Brent Funderburk, Chuck Galey, Marita Gootee, Jeffrey Haupt, Robert Long, Tim McCourt, Patrick Miller, Jamie Mixon, Soon Ee Ngoh, Marc Poole, Herbert Rieth, Jamie Runnels, and Linda Seckinger.
