Though classes are just beginning, it's never too early for college students to begin planning for life after graduation.
To begin the process for seniors and others, Mississippi State University's Career Services Center is sponsoring Fall '97 Career Day Sept. 10. More than 100 representatives of business, industrial, governmental, education, and other organizations are expected for the 1-6 p.m. information-sharing program at Humphrey Coliseum.
"Career Days provide excellent networking opportunities both for students and employers," said center assistant director Beth Land. "In addition to future careers, students can get information on career planning, internships and summer jobs, and graduate and professional school opportunities."
Land said organizational representatives who wish to participate but haven't registered should call the center "as soon as possible" to reserve display locations.
