A VERY FUNNY THING--"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" will be performed at 7:30 p.m. April 6-8 at Mississippi State's McComas Hall theater. General admission tickets are $10; $5 for university students, faculty and staff. Among the student actors in the musical comedy are (clockwise, from left) Jonette Wilburn, Will Cooper, Danielle Williams, and Kristen James. The widely popular Larry Gelbart-Stephen Sondheim collaboration is being co-produced by the communication and music education departments. Communication instructor Kevin Kern directs acting; associate director of bands Clifton Taylor, musical numbers; and music education instructor Eleanor McLellan, the live orchestra.
