STARKVILLE, Miss.--Mississippi State sports communication major John J. Gwin currently is in Indianapolis, Ind., working the 2006 NCAA men's Final Four basketball tournament.
A Memphis, Tenn., senior in the university's kinesiology department, Gwin has worked as a volunteer runner and statistician assistant for CBS Sports for nearly two years. He has been in the Hoosier State capital since mid-March providing support to CBS technicians in setting up broadcast trucks and equipment.
"John is a tireless worker who has done a terrific job of balancing quality work in and out of the classroom," said MSU sports communication professor Robert Zullo.
